Excel Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Excel specialist to secure and protect an accounting workbook.
Project Requirements:
- Lock all accounting formulas and calculation cells.
- Keep designated data-entry cells editable.
- Protect worksheets from unauthorized changes.
- Hide formulas where appropriate.
- Protect the workbook structure from unauthorized changes.
- Ensure authorized users can continue entering accounting data without affecting formulas.
- Review the workbook for formulas that could accidentally be overwritten.
- Set up clear instructions for authorized users to make future formula changes when necessary.
Preferred Experience:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Financial/accounting spreadsheets
- Excel workbook and worksheet protection
- Formula security
- VBA/macros if needed
- Experience working with business accounting workbooks
The completed workbook must be tested to confirm that regular users cannot modify protected formulas while authorized users retain the necessary access.
Compensation: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
